Trip to Auburn - Sept 2010

The boys first experience with a Slim Jim. They liked them so much I was actually a little disturbed. I don't think I've ever had one. What are they anyway? We were desperate-only one hour left in the drive.

We went to Auburn to visit some good friends of ours from Birmingham and Jackson. It was good to see their new house and to see how they were settling into life in a new town. We also got some grown-up time out too and the boys got to visit with each other.

Brannon's First Fish - September 2010

Brannon caught his very first fish last year. We had a great day at the islands. Brannon was SUPER excited to catch the fish (as long as he could hold it out at a safe distance)!

Hiking trip for mom's 60th birthday

We went to Mount LeConte in Tennessee for a hiking trip for my mom's 60th birthday. Mom, Angie, and I hiked all the way up the mountain. We spent the night at the cabins at the top before heading down the next day. Lots of girl time and so much fun.

Cabins at the top of the mountain. Can you believe these cost $300/night with over a year wait? Well worth it though.

Old friends coming to visit

Our neighbors came to visit their family on the coast and we got to hang out with them. The kids were really happy to see each other again. Of course we went back to the children's museum.

Exploring a new place-July 2010

One of the great things we found on the coast early on was the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center. It is a children's museum in Gulfport and the kids loved it from day one. We still go there when we can.

I'm really wanting to start blogging again. I want to update the last year quickly so it will just be lots of pictures. Then I can get back to the present!!
