Germ Theory

In the car after a trip to the museum...
Brannon: Mommy, I'm thirsty. Can I have some of your water? Please.
Me: Sure (handing it back to him in his car seat)
A few seconds later I reach back to retrieve my cup.
Brannon: Mommy you can't have any of this water.
Me: Why not?
Brannon: It has my germs in it. It will make you sick.
Me: It's my water and it had my germs in it first (okay so maybe I was whining a bit).
Brannon: (takes a sip)... Huh, I don't feel them.

St. Patrick's Day Parade (sort of)

We went to the children's parade downtown this year for the first time. However, we got so caught up playing fair games and rides that we actually missed the parade. The other day we passed one of those parking lot traveling carnivals and Brannon kept shouting, "Mommy, look it's a parade." Not exactly but who cares?

Good eats

I may only have 4 teeth but I love some Cracker Barrel...

And Waffle House!
(We really need to eat better! Tonight: grilled chicken. I promise!)

Grandparent road trip part 2

We had a great time at the beach with MeMe and Poppy. It started out really cold and then warmed up enough to get in our swimsuits (sorry my pictures are all out of order). Got to love the beach!!

Check Spelling The outside hot tub was not hot so we decided to improvise.

I'm falling... at least the sand is soft.

Brannon and Poppy braving the water.

Who said you have to be outside at the beach to have fun?

Fun with Nana and Papa

We had a week of vacation where we went on a grandparent visiting trip. Several days in Pascagoula and then on to the beach to visit with MeMe and Poppy. Here are some pictures from the first leg of the trip.

Zoo Fun

Look Mommy, I'm a flamingo! (Actually a pretty good "tree" if you know yoga.)

Waiting on the train.

I guess it was too sunny for Brannon.

Earlier this month we headed to the zoo for some family time. Gotta love the zoo. We let Brannon lead this time and enjoyed watching him give the tour. (I love to be in charge and I have a hard time straying from this but I'm trying to learn to relax.) A day full of animals, sun, fun, and of course a train ride.

It's been a little while

I've been slacking in the blog department over the last month. Where has March gone? Seriously! I'll try and fill everyone in on the last month or so.
