Valentine's Day Party

Because of the snow of Friday, Brannon's Valentine's party at school was postponed to Monday. Unfortunately I was already scheduled to work so I missed the party, but David happened to have the day off and was able to make it. He was shocked (and a little disgusted) at how much junk each of the kids got at the party, but I guess it only happens every now and then.

Brannon with his box of valentines from his friends! (Of course full of candy!)

New exhibit

This past weekend we went to the new fun exhibit at the science museum. I think David liked the museum so much the first time he actually suggested we go back again this past weekend. The exhibit is very hands on which Brannon loved. I've sure we'll go back plenty of times before it heads out of town.

Generation gap

Last night during bath time:
Brannon: Daddy, do you know that toy I have that's a ball and that you can push on and that you can bounce and it is blue and ....(on and on)?
Daddy: What you talkin' about Willis? (In his best Gary Coleman voice)
Brannon: DADDY, I'm NOT talking about Willis. I'm talking about my BALL!

A great learning environment

In the car one afternoon on the way home from school I was blaring some Black Eyed Peas pretty loudly and I'm sure singing along.
Brannon: Mommy... MOMMY!
Me: Yes Brannon (turning the music down).
Brannon: Can you turn the music down? I can't hear my book.

Daddy's first trip to the museum

I can't believe we've been here almost 5 years and this was David's first trip to the Natural Science Museum. We've been about 100 times. Brannon loved showing his daddy all of the exhibits and Taylor loved watching the turtles. They even had a touch tank! This is on my list of places/things I will miss about Jackson.

He spent the whole car trip shining the flashlight in Taylor's eyes. A true big brother.

Right before he attacks Hallie!

Look at me! This is SO much fun!

How did our parents do shopping without these carts?
